Susan "Sue" Foy Herrick

Aiken, SC—A celebration of life service for Mrs. Susan "Sue" Foy  Herrick, age 68, will be held 11:00 am March 6, 2021 at Earle Church of God with Rev. Ronald Lee officiating. Mrs. Herrick was the beloved wife of the late Ralph “Pete” Herrick III and the daughter of the late Mr. Roland Kirk Foy and the late Delma Dee Westwood Foy. Susan Herrick was born in Utah on April 7, 1952 and was truly a gift of God to anyone that she met.  She was known as Sue, Susie, Aunt Sue or Mrs. Sue to many people.  Sue and Pete made their home in Aiken, SC, and had a very great life together. He was the love of her life.  Sue had a very generous heart and was known to help people even when she did without.  You could always count on Sue to do what she could to help anyone that had a need.  She was a true people person and never met a stranger.  She loved and served the Lord through many Church ministries at Earle Church of God. Sue always wore a smile on her face and was the greeter at Earle Church of God.  If you were having a bad day, Sue’s smile and attitude could change you. Everything and everyone that she touched with her loving heart made them better and the world a much better place to live. Survivors include: one son Samuel Earl Herrick Vallego, CA; one brother Jim Foy, Moab, UT; one sister Verna Butcher, Moab, UT; and her faithful friend Loverboy, her cat who misses her dearly.  Mrs. Herrick was predeceased by two brothers, Jack and Kirk Foy, a sister-in-law, Jerri Foy.  In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested that memorials be made to Earle Church of God 341 Earl Church Rd, Aiken, SC 29805. Due to Covid19, masks will be required and social distancing will be observed.
