Aiken, SC—Entered into rest Sunday September 27, 2020 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers, Mr. Robert “Bob” Karns, age 70.  He was the beloved husband of 38 years to Mrs. Dorrit Neilsen Karns and a son of the late Mr. Jack Karns and the late Mrs. Dorothy Cutler Karns. Bob was a native of Younkers, NY and had made Aiken County his home for the past 14 years.  Bob was owner and operator of Qualitone Electronics in New York  and retired after 35 years in business. He was a member of the Reserve Club in Woodside Plantation. Bob was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing with his golfing buddies either just for fun or in various golfing tournaments. Bob was actively involved with 1st Tee of Aiken and a member of the Aiken Rotary Club Sunrise where he served as secretary for 5 years.  At his request Bob was cremated and no services were to be held.  COLE FUNERAL HOME 1544 UNIVERSITY PARKWAY (118 BY PASS) AIKEN, SC, 29801. 803-648-7175.
