Pamela Cornett

A celebration of life service for Mrs. Pamela  Cornett age 65 will be held 11:00 am Thursday October 28, 2021 at Cole Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Montress Mims officiating.  Mrs. Cornett entered into rest on Thursday October 21, 2021 at her residence. She was the beloved wife of the late Mr. Colin Cornett and the daughter of the late Mr. Ernest Gainey and the late Mrs. Ruth White Gainey. Mrs. Cornett was a native of Donalsonville, GA, and had made Aiken her home for the last four years. She was of the Baptist faith, and had attended Old Storm Branch Baptist Church. Mrs. Cornett had been a FEMA inspector for six years. Her hobbies included shopping, dogs, and spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include: two daughters Angela (W.P.) Brown, Bartow, GA, and Tonya (Kevin) Mims, Aiken; three brothers Michael Gainey, Milton, FL, Ronnie Gainey, Texas, and Dennis Gainey, Hephzibah, GA; one sister Betty (Gene) Register, Dublin, GA; five grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. A visitation with the family will take place from 5-7 pm on Wednesday October 27, 2021 at COLE FUNERAL HOME 1544 UNIVERSITY PKWY (118 BYPASS) AIKEN, SC 29801 803-648-7175. Due to Covid, the family suggests that masks be worn and social distancing be observed. The service will be live streamed on the Cole Funeral Home Facebook page.
