Carolyn was born to the late Jack and Marion Schneider in Alton, Illinois on Aug. 7, 1948. She graduated from Leavelle McCampbell High School in 1966 where she was an active member in the band.
She married Dan Graves on Sept. 19,1970 and had recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. She is survived by her husband, Two sons, Jason Graves, of North Augusta, SC and Miles Graves, of Bluffton, SC. Daughter in law, Lyntia Graves and granddaughter, Jaslyn Graves.
Carolyn was a hairdresser early in life, but once she had children, she embraced the responsibility of being a full-time mother. In 1975 she was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She attended the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses on Whiskey Rd. in Aiken. For the past 30 years she has devoted countless hours as a regular pioneer (public preacher) helping many people come to know more about God and the Bible. She was a lover of animals, avid gardner and long-time antique collector. She will be truly missed by all.
