Mrs. Yolanda “Lani” Blackman

Aiken – Mrs. Blackman entered into rest Friday, March 15, 2019 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. She was a native of Kingston, New York and had made Aiken her home for the last 6 years. She had also previously lived in Rochester, New York for about 25 years. Mrs. Blackman was the beloved wife of the late Mr. Ronald Blackman and the daughter to the late Mr. Salvatore Modica and the late Mrs. Agnes Modica. Mrs. Blackman had a love for horses, which drew her to Aiken. She even had her own horse at one point named Jacob. She enjoyed spending time riding, writing, needle point, embroidery, and going antiquing. Additional survivors include: one daughter, Lezlie Hepburn, of Missoula, Montana; and three grandchildren Caitlin Hepburn, Brenna Hepburn, and Clem Hepburn.
