Aiken, SC—A graveside service for Mrs. Willie "Leola" Wooten Cook, age 90, will be held 3:00 PM Sunday November 14, 2021 at Tabernacle Baptist Church Cemetery 1488 Salley Rd, Salley, SC 29137 with Rev. Jason Redd officiating. Mrs. Cook entered into rest Thursday November 11, 2021 at The Place at Pepper Hill facility, Aiken, SC. She was the beloved wife of 66 years to the late Mr. Pope Cook and the daughter of the late Mr. Willie A Wooten and the late Mrs. Hassie B Wooten. Mrs. Cook was a native of Wagener, SC and had made the Aiken area her home for all of her life. She was of the Baptist faith, and was a member of Couchton Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading, watching her soap operas, and spending time with her family. She was also known as a great cook by her family. Survivors include: four sons Robert (Blenda) Cook, Windsor, William (Madonna) Cook, Olive Hill, KY, Steve (Sharon) Cook, Chattanooga, TN, and Andy (Sonia) Cook Hephzibah, GA; one daughter Janice Cook, Aiken; 17 grandchildren Jonathan Cook, Aiken, Brandon (Jenny) Cook, Lexington, SC, Steven (Joanne) Cook, Columbia, Andy (Sunnie) Cook, North Augusta, Suzanne (Eric) Hurt, Columbia, Caci (William) Nance, McConnells, SC, LeAnn (Matt) McLellan, Rembert, SC, Chris Cook, Winnsboro, SC, Dustin Williams, Hephzibah, GA, J.P. Cook Hephzibah, GA, Ben Cook, Chattanooga, TN, Phillip Bryd, Aiken, Dee Bryd, Aiken, David Fike, Brad Fike, Kevin Fike, and Mary Ann Ruckel; and 18 great grandchildren.
