William “Bill” Frank Gill

Aiken, SC—Mr. William “Bill” Frank Gill, age 81, entered into rest on Thursday January 15, 2026, at Wellstar MCG. He was the beloved son to the late Miss Adeline Burton. Mr. Gill was born in Boston, MA. He attended Foreman Memorial Baptist Church. Mr. Gill was a scholar and had an MBA from the University of Massachusetts. He joined the US Amy in 1965 where he became a Green Beret, serving in Vietnam. Mr. Gill’s most beloved hobby was golfing. He was loved by his friends and family and will be deeply missed. Survivors include: one son Jason Gill; one daughter Rachael Gill; one sister Anne Rule; four grandchildren; and his former wife, lifelong friend, and the mother of his children Marie Gill.
