Aiken, SC—Mr. Wayne Richard Steffner II, age 85, entered into rest on July 21, 2025 at his home. He was born in Berkeley, CA to the late Mr. Wayne Richard Steffner I and the late Mrs. Dorothy Meherin Steffner; and was the husband to his loving wife of many years Mrs. Margaret Joy Parry Steffner. Coming from Norco, CA., Mr. Steffner made Aiken his home for the past 3 years. He attended The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Aiken, SC. Mr. Steffner was a CAD consultant and a computer specialist for 30 years. He worked for IBM McDonald Douglas, GM Lansing, MI, and Kocomo, IN; Aircraft and Boeing Aircraft Co.; Holdens Car Co., Australia; Tarbel Real Estate in Corona, CA; Zion National Park in UT; and Allegheny Technologies in San Diego, CA. Mr. Steffner went to California State University in Long Beach, CA to receive his Bachelors and Masters degrees and taught Astronomy. He enjoyed fishing, hiking, and gardening. He will be missed greatly by all who knew him. Additional survivors include his daughter D.V.M.
