Mr. Wallace Ronald “Ron” Henderson

Bushnell, Florida—Entered into rest Friday October 4, 2019 in Ft. Dora, Florida, Mr. Wallace Ronald “Ron” Henderson, age 89.  Mr. Henderson was the husband of the late Mrs. Jacqueline “Jackie” Robinson Henderson, and a son of the late Mr. Andrews C. Henderson, and the late Mrs. Esther Christine Carnell Blunt.  Mr. Henderson was a native of Birmingham, AL and had made Aiken his home  for the past 46 years before moving to Florida in 2017.  Mr. Henderson was a State Farm Agent for over 25 years in Aiken. He was an active member of the Aiken Rotary Club, the United Way of Aiken, the Boy Scouts of America and many other civic clubs.  Survivors include one son, Rodger (Glenda Gail) Henderson, Aiken; three grandchildren, Crystal (Ryan) Christensen, Evelyn (Anthony) Ferraioli, Christopher (LiJuan) Henderson.  In Lieu of Flowers the family has suggested that memorials be made to a charity of one’s choice.
