Aiken—Entered into rest Wednesday April 9, 2014 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers, Mr. Tony C. Minus, age 69, beloved husband of Mrs. Mary Clamp Minus and son of the late Mr. Tony Calton Minus, Sr. and the late Mrs. Evelyn Thompson Minus.

Mr. Minus was a native of Thomson, GA  and lived most  of his life in  Aiken County, SC. He was the former owner operator of Tony Minus’ Chuck Campbell’s Wall Paper Company.  Mr. Minus was a realtor with Woodside Realty Company.

Funeral services will be held 2:30 pm Saturday April 12, 2014 at Grace Covenant Church of God, New Ellenton,  with Rev. Joshua A. Shealy officiating. Interment will follow in Oakview Cemetery, Salley, SC.

Additional survivors include one son, Tony Calton  (Kelly) Minus, III, Augusta, GA; two daughters, Mary Tyler (Phillip) Paradise,  Washington State, Dr. Toni-Marie Minus (Benjamin P. Kirby), Columbia;  sister, Jane E. Sims, Maine; one granddaughter, Carlisle Minus.

Pallbearers will be Stan Jackson, Pat Cunning, Ronald Wood, Barry Kirby, Tommy Paradise, and Donnie Miller.

Tony was a loving husband and a dedicated and proud father.  He was fun- loving and full of life.  He enjoyed playing golf with his friends and riding his bike.  Tony was a hard worker who never met a stranger.  He was compassionate, kind, and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

A visitation with the family will take place 1:00 pm  Saturday, April 12, 2014 at Grace Covenant Church of God until time of services.
