Mr. Thomas Michael Rosbach

Dalzell, SC--Mr. Thomas Michael Rosbach , age 72 , of Dalzell, South Carolina died unexpectedly on August 11, 2026.

Michael was born in Augusta, Georgia, on August 10, 1954 to Mr. and Mrs. Philip and Sally Rosbach both of whom he loved deeply. He grew up in Aiken SC where he shared many happy times with friends and his three brothers and sister. Michael attended St. Angela Academy and Aiken High School and was a 1973 graduate. After high school he worked various odd jobs before enlisting in the United States Air Force. He was a career military man and rose to the level of Master Sergeant. During his tenure he was stationed at multiple locations around the world and in the United States, served in Desert Storm, and was among the Security Unit assigned to Air Force One in Washington DC. He retired from Shaw Air Force Base near Sumter SC and then took up residence in Dalzell SC. Michael was a patriot; a man devoted to his country. 

Michael especially enjoyed the times he was able to spend with his family. With his unique personality and quirky sense of humor, he often had everyone laughing and helped to create many memorable family gatherings. One of his favorite pastimes was watching sports of any kind, especially football. He loved music and a good cup of coffee. He was a history buff, a gun enthusiast, and a dog lover who had many treasured pets over the years.

In addition to his parents, Michael was predeceased by his beloved brothers Mr. John F. Rosbach and Mr. Stephen A. Rosbach. 

He is survived by his brother Philip Rosbach and wife Rachel(Aiken), his sister Ann Marie Ward and husband Billy(Aiken),his sister-in-law Debbie Rosbach(Aiken), nephews and nieces: Richard Morrison(Christy), Carey Greenauer(Derek), Erin Robison(Andy), Jay Ward(Maureen), Sarah Rosbach, Anna Conant(lan), John Rosbach(Mary), Chelsea Walden(Jeremy), Philip Rosbach(Candace) and numerous great nieces and nephews. His family is reminded by faith and takes great comfort in the belief that Michael is at peace and resting in the loving arms of our Heavenly Father. 

A graveside service with military honors for Michael will take place at 11:00, October 9th at Calvary Cemetery in Aiken with Deacon Robert Pierce officiating. Cole Funeral Home is handling all arrangements. Please sign the online registry at www.colefuneralhomeinc.net.

Michael was a kind soul, a proud veteran and a treasured part of his family. We will miss our brother, our uncle and hold dear his memory.
