Thomas Jackson III
Aiken, SC—A celebration of life service for Mr. Thomas Jackson III, age 88, will be held 2:00 pm on Friday February 13, 2026, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses North Aiken Congregation at 502 Croft Mill Rd. with Elder Reggie Harris officiating. Mr. Jackson entered into rest on Sunday February 8, 2026, at his residence. He was the beloved husband of the late Mrs. Emma Washington Jackson and the son to the late Mr. Thomas Jackson, Jr. and the late Mrs. Frances Abney Jackson. Mr. Jackson was a born in Aiken and spent 70 years of his life in the Aiken area. After graduating high school in Aiken, he enlisted in the United States Army. After his stint in the Army, Mr. Jackson moved to Queens, NY, where he spent the next eighteen years of his life. Mr. Jackson gave a combined ten years of service to the US Postal Service in both Queens and Aiken. He also worked for Shaws Industry in maintenance for five years in, retiring in 1999. Mr. Jackson was a Jehovah's Witness and an elder of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses North Aiken Congregation. His hobbies included traveling and reading, as well as listening to music. He was loved by his friends and family and will be deeply missed. Survivors include: one son Thomas Jackson IV, Edgefield, SC; six daughters Patricia Jackson, Aiken, SC, Vernae Jackson, Aiken, SC, Connie Jackson, Aiken, SC, Deneen Jackson, Aiken, SC, Angela Jackson, Aiken, SC, and Brenda Jackson, Aiken, SC; four grandchildren Christopher Jackson, Aiken, SC, Natasha Williams, Aiken, SC, Jeremy Williams, Lexington, SC, and Phoenicia Jackson, Tucson, AZ; eleven great grandchildren; nine great great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Mr. Jackson was preceded in death by one son Lamar Jackson. Visitation with the family will take place one hour prior to the service at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses North Aiken Congregation at 502 Croft Mill Rd.
