Aiken, SC—A celebration of life service for Mr. Steven “Steve” Eugene Derochie, age 45, will be held 2:00 pm Monday September 26, 2022, at Hollow Creek Baptist Church 136 Hollow Creek Church Rd Aiken, SC 29803 with Rev. Darryl Thompson officiating. Pallbearers will be Patrick Bone, Colby Dorn, James Lawson, Kelly Keenan, Jamie Young, and Jeremy Derochie. Mr. Derochie entered into rest on Thursday September 22, 2022. He was the beloved husband to the late Mrs. Alicia Derochie and the son of Mr. William A. Derochie, Hiawassee, GA and Mrs. Louise Lee Dorn, Aiken, SC.  Mr. Derochie was a native of Demorest, GA and had made Aiken his home for the last 33 years. He was of the Baptist faith and a member of Hollow Creek Baptist Church. Mr. Derochie was a welder at SRS for the last three years. He was also self employed doing upholstery as a hobby for two years. His other hobbies included hunting, fishing, riding his motorcycle, and Georgia Bulldog football. Additional survivors include: one son William Gene Caleb Barber (Joseph Ngo) Augusta, GA; three brothers Patrick (Heather) Bone, Cleveland, GA, Colby (Sarah) Dorn, Greenwood, SC, and Jeremy (Courtney) Derochie, Clarksville, GA.
