Aiken – A celebration of life service for Mrs. Sandy Ann Johnson DuBose, age 57, will be held 3:00 p.m. on Sunday August 21, 2016 at Victory Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Brown and Rev. Chris Brown officiating. Interment will follow in Aiken Memorial Park.
Mrs. DuBose entered into rest Sunday, August 14, 2016 at MMUSC, Charleston. She had made Aiken her home for the past nine years. Mrs. DuBose was the wife of Danny Royce DuBose Jr. She was the daughter of the late Mr. Solomon Govan Johnson II and Mrs. Betty Louise Porter. Mrs. DuBose was a Wife’s Club Member of the Montmorenci Fire Dept. as well as a food service attendant at Ft. Benning, Ga. Mrs. DuBose attended Victory Baptist Church.
Additional survivors include two daughters, Wanda( Carey) Teeter, Aiken, Stacey Arnette, North Augusta; one sister, Dorothy Brown, Aiken; and two grandchildren, Graclyn and Madison Teeter. Mrs. DuBose was predeceased by one brother, Solomon Govan Johnson III.
Pallbearers will be Carey Teeter, Corey Teeter, Darrel Harmon, Michael Crawford, Danny Coffee, and Donald Lowe.
