Salley, SC—Entered into rest Monday October 24, 2022 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers, Mr. Roy Dean Wells, age 68, beloved husband of Mrs. Cheryl Flake Wells. He was the son of the late Mr. Leroy Wells and the late Mrs. Mary Green Wells. Mr. Wells was the owner of operator of RD Construction. Mr. Wells had been in this field for 40 years retiring in 2016. His hobbies included Fishing, Hunting, gardening. He enjoyed canning the fruits and vegetables from his garden and he also collected tractors.  Mr. Wells was of the Baptist faith. Additional survivors include two sons, Roy Jesse (Sonya) Wells, Ridge Spring, Jonathan (Sheila) Wells, Ridge Spring; three daughters, Candy (Charles) Corbett, Aiken, Deana (Jeremy Brooks, Lexington, SC, Judy (Chad) Doolittle, Aiken; two sisters, Virginia Morrison, Aiken and Mary Ellen Walker, Aiken; fifteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren, and a great grand girl on the way.  His fur baby Rosie. Mr. Wells was predeceased by two brothers, Leroy Wells, Jr., Kenneth Ray Wells; one sister, Patricia Gambrell. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
