Mrs. Rose Vogel Knechel

Aiken—A celebraton of life service for Mrs. Rose Vogel Knechel, age 85 will be held 11:00 am graveside, Saturday, May 7, 2016 at Rosemont Cemetery, Rosemont, New Jersey under the direction of Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, Flemington, New Jersey.

Mrs. Knechel entered into rest peacefully Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at her home in Aiken, South Carolina.  She was the wife of the late Mr. David C Knechel and a daughter of the late Mr. Tito Vogle and the late Mrs. Savina Hettman Vogle.  Mrs. Kneckel was a native of Delaware Township,  New Jersey, and made her home in Flemington, NJ for 35 years,  and has  made Aiken South Carolina her home for the past 16 years. Before retiring Mrs. Knechel was with Shop Rite in Hunterdon County, New Jersey with 5 years of service. She was a member of Grace Covenant Church of God, New Ellenton, South Carolina.

Survivors include two sons, Bradford Brown, Lehighton, PA, Sherwood Crammer, Iva, SC; four daughters, Rosemarie (Tim) Cassidy, Aiken, SC, Linda (John) Bodine, Phillipsburg, NJ,Susan Voagle, PA,  Sandy Mupo, Hillsboro, NJ; two brothers, William (Betty) Vogle, NJ, Walter (Louann) Vogle, Conway, SC; four grandchildren, Nichole (Rob)  Cassidy/Blair, Timothy Seamus Cassidy, Michael Bodine, and Michelle Bodine; two step grandchildren, Lacato, and Russell Edsoren.  Mrs. Knechel was predeceased by one grandchild, Heather Marie Cassidy and brothers and sisters.

Pallbearers will be Daniel Horner, Billy Vogle, Seamus Cassidy, Chris DeGeorgio, Justin DeGeorgio, and Russell Edsoren.
