Ronald Reagan Griffin
Aiken, SC—Mr. Ronald Reagan Griffin, age 80, entered into rest on Sunday June 28, 2026, at his residence. He was the beloved husband of 46 years to Mrs. Sharon Feagin Griffin, and a son to the late Mr. Sidney Griffin and the late Mrs. Dorothy Reagan. Mr. Griffin was born in Millen, GA, but had made the Aiken area his home for the last 50 years. Mr. Griffin was a veteran serving in the United States Marine Corp. He was an avid Georgia Bulldog fan, spending countless hours watching football on the tv. He loved watching NASCAR during the Dale Earnhardt era, following Dale Earnhardt until his death in 2001. Mr. Griffin also enjoyed spending time fishing at the lake or the pond. He was proficient in firearms, and loved his guns. Mr. Griffin was witty and had a dry sense of humor. He was also friendly, and never met a stranger. He was loved by his family and friends and will be deeply missed. Additional survivors include: two sons Ronald “Jason” (Lindsey) Griffin, Aiken, SC, and Christopher Wayne Griffin, Aiken, SC; three daughters Rhonda (Wayne) Heath, Aiken, SC, Paula Hain, GA, and Stephanie (Allen) Anderson, Aiken, SC; four brothers Paul (Jan) Griffin, Augusta, GA, Dan Griffin, Waynesboro, GA, Jimmy Griffin, Augusta, GA, and David Griffin, Augusta, GA; one sister Henrietta Holmes, Augusta, GA; eight grandchildren Chase Heath, Chance Heath, Ashley, Madison, Jackson Griffin, Maddie Griffin, Riley Griffin, Emily Hain, and Ashton Wilson; and one great grandchild Oliver Lane Heath. Mr. Griffin was preceded in death by one grandchild Haley Baer. A visitation with the family will be held from 6-8 pm on Thursday July 2, 2026, at COLE FUNERAL HOME 1544 UNIVERSITY PKWY (118 BYPASS) AIKEN, SC 29801 803-648-7175. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the American Cancer Society American Cancer Society or the SPCA Albrecht Center for Animal Welfare www.letlovelive.org.
