Aiken, SC--A celebration of life service for Mr. Robert Erich Nowak, age 59 will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday January 24, 2018 at Cole Funeral Home Chapel with  Pastor George Tallmage officiating.  Interment will be held private.  Mr. Nowak entered into rest Monday January 15, 2018 at his residence.  He was the son of the late Erich Robert Nowak and the late Anne Marie Kumme Nowak.  Mr. Nowak was born in Toronto Canada and had made Aiken County his home for the past 8 years.  He was the Safety Manager at the Savannah River Site with 8 years of service.  Mr. Nowak was an avid golfer.  Survivors include one son, Eric Nowak, Aiken; one sister Carol Nowak,  New York City, NY.  In lieu of flowers the family has suggested that memorials be made to the SPCA Albrecht Center for Animal Welfare, 199 Willow Run Road, Aiken, SC, 29801.  A visitation with the family will take place following the service at COLE FUNERAL HOME 1544 UNIVERSITY PARKWAY (118 BY-PASS) AIKEN, SC, 29801. 803-648-7175.
