Mr. Robert Brian Hamlin

Aiken, SC—Mr. Robert Brian Hamlin, age 73, entered into rest on September 22, 2026 at his residence. He is survived by his beloved wife Mrs. Susan Scheele Hamlin. He was the son of the late Mr. Troy Hamlin and Mrs. Bessie Opal Barker Hamlin Myer. Mr. Hamlin was born in Stockbridge, MI, but has made the Aiken area his home for the last 32 years. He worked as a crew leader for Bridgestone, retiring in 2015. Mr. Hamlin was a devoted caregiver for his in-laws. He was also a skilled guitarist, playing church music, Gospel, soft rock, and country. He was loved by his friends and family and will be deeply missed. Additional survivors include: four daughters Traci (Buddy) Leann Adams, Emily (Taylor) Hamlin Floyd, Kasey Dyan Hamlin, and Katherine Elizabeth McMullen; one daughter-in-law Beth Hamlin; two sisters Judy (Reid) Hartsuff, and Connie Hamlin; eleven grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren. Mr. Hamlin was preceded in death by: his first wife Glenda Arnett Hamlin; his son Kyle Robert Hamlin; three brothers Jack Hamlin, Tom Hamlin, and Kevin Hamlin; and two sisters Karen Osborne and Sue Roe.
