Mr. Robert Maurice Dale

Aiken, SC—Mr. Robert Maurice Dale, age 92, entered into rest on Sunday February 1, 2026, at Anchor Post Acute. He was the beloved husband to the late Mrs. Nancie Gee Dale and a son to the late Mr. Sebron S. Dale and the late Mrs. Marie Coley Foley. Mr. Dale was born in Bowling Green, KY, but had made the Aiken area his home for the last 5 years. He previously lived in St. Petersburg, FL, for over 25 years. Mr. Dale was a Christian and attended St. Petersburg Presbyterian. He was also a member of the St. Petersburg Yacht Club and Buchaneers Club. Mr. Dale worked with the General Electric Corporate head quarters at Nela Park in Cleveland, OH, for over 35 years, retiring in 1994. He loved boating and cooking. He was loved by his family and will be deeply missed. Survivors include: two daughters Dierdre Dale O’Donnell, Aiken, SC, and Sharer Susan Dale, Aiken, SC; two half brothers Doug Dale, Jackson, MI, and Richard Dale, Houston, TX; seven grandchildren Rachel, Brain Jr., Robert, Christopher, Andrew, Amy, and Laura O’Donnell; his former son-in-law Brian O’Donnell, Cleveland, OH; and seven great grandchildren. Mr. Dale was preceded in death by his half sister Robin Fuller. Private services with the family will be held at a later date.
