Graniteville, SC—A celebration of life service for Mrs. Rita Ann Munson, age 79, will be held 12:00 pm Friday November 3, 2023, at Cole Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Douglas Munson officiating. Interment will follow at Graniteville Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Austin Hill, Brent Hill, Steven Griffin, Joey Crumpton, Rusty Crumpton, and Josh Munson. Mrs. Munson entered into rest Sunday October 29, 2023 at her residence. She was the beloved wife of Mr. L. “Andy” Munson and the daughter to the late Mr. Ross Crumpton and the late Mrs. Myrtle Mae Brown. Mrs. Munson was of the Christian faith, and was a faithful member of the former White Road Fellowship Center in Augusta, GA, where she was a children's church director for many years. She loved music and played the piano for all of her life. Church and music was her life and her passion. Mrs. Munson ran the Wedding Chapel on Park Ave. for nearly ten years. She loved interacting with people, and helping them make their dreams come true. Mrs. Munson loved traveling to the mountains and going on cruises. She was loved by her friends and family and will be deeply missed. Additional survivors include: two daughters Kim Griffin, Vaucluse, and LaRue Hill, Augusta; six grandchildren Jonathan Griffin, Stephen Griffin, Christopher Griffin, Elizabeth Griffin, Brent Hill, and Austin Hill; and four great grandchildren Zachary, Summer, Natalee, and Charlotte.
