Richard Andrew Egge

Richard Passed away peacefully at Aiken Regional Hospital on Monday, August 17, 2020 after a brief illness.

He was born at Eglin AFB, FL. He graduated high school in Tampa, FL and then enlisted in the US Air Force. In 1995, Richard married Cheryl Ann Barger in Cocoa, FL. She passed away in 1999. Richard recently moved to Aiken, SC from Northfield, NH.

Richard's primary interests were golf, NASCAR racing, and surfing in Hawaii and Cocoa Beach, FL.

Richard is survived by his father Gene Egge and step-mother Nancy Egge of Cocoa, FL; his mother Betty Egge of Aiken, SC; his brother William Egge and sister-in-law Joyce Egge of Aiken, SC; his brother Robert Egge and sister-in-law Ella Egge of Arbutus, MD; and his step-sister Charlene Neuterman of Cocoa, FL. Richard is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, and cousins.
