Mrs. Reni Kathryn Coldiron

Aiken, SC-- A celebration of life service for Mrs. Reni Kathryn Coldiron, age 72, will be held 3:00 p.m. on Sunday November 8, 2026, at Cole Funeral Home Chapel. Mrs. Coldiron entered into rest on October 31, 2026. She was born in Dayton, OH to the late Mr. Robert Coldiron and the late Mrs. Rose Elchynsky. Mrs. Coldiron received her bachelor’s degree at University of New Hampshire, and then the University of New Mexico in Portales, New Mexico. She was a first-grade teacher at Perris Elementary School in Perris, CA for 10 years, until she retired in 2008. Coming from Perris, CA, she made Aiken her home for the past 18 years. Mrs. Coldiron worked over 30 years in education, and became a substitute teacher in Aiken County School District. Some of her hobbies included playing the French horn and playing with a band here in Aiken. She will be missed deeply by her friends and her family. Survivors include: two sons Derek Kenstad, Minneapolis, MN and Andres Kenstad, San Diego, CA; one brother Robert Duane Coldiron, Aiken, SC; and one grandchild Jacob Tinajero.
