Mrs. Patsy Lowe

Aiken, SC—A celebration of life service for Mrs. Patsy Lowe, age 75, will be held 10:00 am on Wednesday September 23, 2026, at Chime Bell Baptist Church with Pastor Chris Medlin officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Chime Bell Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Lowe entered into rest on Tuesday September 15, 2026, at her residence. She was the beloved wife of Mr. Gerald W. Lowe and a daughter to the late Mr. Wade Widener, Sr., and the late Mrs. Dorothy Gordon Widener. Mrs. Lowe was a native and lifelong resident of Aiken. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of Chime Bell Baptist Church. Mrs. Lowe loved plants and flowers, and enjoyed spending time gardening when she was able. Additionally, she enjoyed cooking, watching game shows on tv, going to the zoo, and visiting Edisto. She loved Elvis as well as classic country music. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and friends. She especially loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren and was an amazing Granny and Great Granny. She was loved by her friends and family and will be deeply missed. Additional survivors include: two sons Billy (Phyllis Pool) Key, Santee, SC, and Brian (Lynitta) Key, Aiken, SC; one daughter Beverly (Dennis) Cogan, Lexington, SC; two step-daughters Tracy (Jacob) Harding, Aiken, SC, and Terry (Shawn) Davis, St. Regis, MT; one sister Carolyn Smith; eight grandchildren Tyler Key, Ryan Key, Adam Stevens, Zachary Stark, Andrew Stevens, Amanda Maddrey, Samantha Veloz, and Elizabeth Dunagan; and three great grandchildren Brielle Maddrey, Emilia Stevens, and Lilith “Lily” Stark. Mrs. Lowe was preceded in death by her brother Wade “Junior” Widener, II.
