Mrs. Nancy M. Simmons

Aiken-Warrenville, SC - Mrs. Nancy M. Simmons, age 64, beloved wife of Mr. Robert E. Simmons, entered into rest on Sunday, April 26, 2026. She was the daughter of the late Mr. John McKinney, and the late Mrs. Norma Jean Ashley McKinney. Mrs. Simmons was born in Greenwood, SC, but was brought up in various locations in the CSRA; she had spent a number of years in the Greenville, SC area, before returning to the CSRA. She was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Simmons had a daughter, Victoria Thompson, of Boise, ID, and a son, Stephen Ansley of London, England. She held various positions over the years, both in Greenville, and in the CSRA area. Mrs. Simmons loved God, her husband, and her extended family, and especially the pet dogs she shared with her husband. They were her pride and joy! In addition to her husband and children, she is survived by a sister, Wanda McKinney, a half-sister, Joyce Moon, recently of the greater Macon area, a Nephew, Matthew McKinney of Hephzibah, GA. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, and a first husband, Mr. Brian Ansley. A service will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at 2 PM at COLE FUNERAL HOME 1544 UNIVERSITY PKWY (118 BYPASS) AIKEN, SC 29801 803-648-7175. The service will be officiated by the Rev.
