Mrs. Nancy Ann Thompson Rodgers

Aiken, SC—A celebration of life service for Mrs. Nancy Ann Thompson Rodgers, age 79, will be held 11:00 am Saturday November 12, 2022, at Cole Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ray Popham officiating. Mrs. Rodgers entered into rest on Wednesday November 2, 2022, at her home. She was the cherished wife of Mr. Leland Rodgers and the daughter of the late Spencer Thompson and the late Rae Chandler Thompson. Mrs. Rodgers was a native of Florence, AL, but made Aiken her home since 1969. She was the owner and operator of a local hair salon for 50 years. Her hobbies included antique shopping and trips to the mountains. She was deeply loved by her family and will be missed. Additional survivors include: her son Barry Dean, Aiken, SC; two daughters Terri Stewart-Bastedo-Bischoff, Birmingham, AL, and Tracey Waters, Columbia, SC, son-in-law Creighton Waters, Columbia SC, grandson Cade Waters, Columbia, S.C., and stepson Leland Rodgers Jr., NC and her sister, Martha Thompson, Florence, AL. Mrs. Rodgers was preceded in death by her brother John Thompson, and her sister, Olive Thigpen.
