Jackson, SC---A celebration of life service for Mr. Michael Starlings El will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 12, 2015 at Smith Hazel Center, Aiken, SC with Sister Vera H. Bey, Teacher officiating. Interment will be Private.
Mr. Starlings age 57 entered into rest Friday, August 30, 2015 at the University Hospital, Augusta, GA. He was the husband of 25 years to Mrs. Joyce Bush Starlings and a son of the Mrs. Annie Corbitt Starlings, Aiken, SC, and the late Mr. Jimmie Lee Starlings, Sr. He was a native and a life long resident of Aiken County, SC. Mr. Starlings was employed at Owens Corning Fiberglass as a mechanic and retired there with 34 years of service. He was a member of the Moorish Science Temple of America, New Ellenton, SC.
Additional survivors include two sons, Michael Bush, and DaMarcus Starlings both of Jackson, SC; four brothers, Jimmie Lee (Christmas) Starlings, Jr., Aiken, Carl (Patricia) Starlings, Augusta, GA, Dennis (Jackie) Starlings, New Ellenton, Anthony (Mildred) Starlings, Barnwell; one sister, Deloris Young, New Ellenton; one grand child, A’Layia Starlings, Jackson, SC.
