Aiken, SC—A graveside service for Mr. Michael Padgett age 59 will be held 5:00 pm at Langley Cemetery with Lt. Randy Tiller Pastor of the Salvation Army Church  Aiken officiating.  Mr.  Padgett was a native of Wyandotte MI and was a life long resident of Aiken County. Mr. Padgett entered into rest Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at his residence.  He was the husband of the late Mrs. Pam Padgett and a son of the late Mr. Billy Amos Padgett, Jr. and the late Mrs. Anne Masters Padgett.  Mr. Padgett had been employed by Aiken County Roofing for several years.  He enjoyed fishing, camping, horse shows and playing a good game of pool. He was also an excellent caregiver.  Mr. Padgett was an ordained minister and a member of the Salvation Army Church in Aiken, SC.  Additional Survivors include his best friend, Kelly Carter; he was a Christian Guardian of Charles Levi Carter and Taylor Lucille Carter of Aiken; four brothers, Phillip and John Padgett both of Aiken, Dean Sharps and Gene Sharps  of Idaho; two sisters, Rose Padgett and Annie Sharp Coffey of Arizona, and his dog, Jeffrey. Mr. Padgett was predeceased by one sister, Debra Padgett.
