Aiken, SC--A Celebration of Life Service for Mrs. Mary "Polly" Wilburn Waddell, age 87 will be held  2:00 pm  Monday February 19, 2018 at Millbrook Baptist Church with Rev. Don Pope  and Rev. Phillip Dunn officiating.  A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday February 20, 2018 at Green Pond Memorial Gardens, Woodruff, SC with Rev. Carol Caldwell officiating.   Mrs. Waddell entered into rest Sunday February 11, 2018 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. She was the wife of 67 years to Mr. George Waddell  of Aiken and a daughter of the late Mr. Toy Wilburn and the late Mrs. Annie Estees Wilburn . Mrs. Waddell was born January 2, 1931 in Union, SC and had made Aiken her home since 1952.  She retired in 1987 from the Department of Social Services as a case worker supervisor .  She was one of the founding members of Mended Hearts Chapter 294.  Mrs. Waddell served as secretary to the Mended Hearts Charity Golf Tournament for a number of years, and was an active member of Millbrook Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school for 55 years. Additional survivors include three sons, Phillip (Lisa) Waddell, Lexington, SC, Carl (Angie) Waddell, Aiken, SC, David (Alta) Waddell, Wickenburg, Arizona; one grand daughters, Andi Waddell, Columbia, SC; one sister, Betty Wilburn Honeycutt, Columbia, SC.   Pallbearers will be Eddie Hunt, Houston Brown, Mike Bruce, Jody Whisenant. Honorary pallbearers will be Lydia Sunday School Class, Mended Hearts. Make charitable contributions to Mended Hearts Chapter 294,  P.O.
