Mrs. Martha Ann Sherrill Young

Aiken, SC— A celebration of life service for Mrs. Martha Ann Sherrill Young, age 78, will be held at Solid Rock Baptist Church on Monday July 21, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Dr. Dewayne Anderson officiating. Mrs. Young entered into rest on Tuesday, July 8, 2025. She was the daughter of the late Mrs. Caroline Woodward Key and the loving wife to her late husband Mr. Larry Young. She was born and raised in Aiken, SC and was a member of Levels Baptist Church. Mrs. Young was a hair dresser for many years at The Beauty Shop. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mrs. Young will be missed dearly by her friends and family. Survivors include her son Larry “Chris” (Ann) Young, Aiken; daughter Angie (Matt) Howard, Aiken; grandchildren Travis (Leah) Howard, Megann Driver, Dr. Emily Ann (Matt) Campbell, and Brian Young; great grandchildren Gabriel Howard, Zachary Howard, Leighton Howard, Emma Driver, and Eloise Campbell; and a very special nephew Jack Enochs. A visitation with the family will take place one hour prior to the service at Solid Rock Baptist Church.
