Mr. Marion Thomas Moore

Aiken, SC—Mr. Marion Thomas Moore, age 81, entered into rest on Monday January 19, 2026, at his residence. He was the beloved husband of 60 years to Mrs. Delores J. Bussell Moore and the son to the late Mr. James Thomas Moore and the late Mrs. Ica Buffin Moore. Mr. Moore was born in Versailles, KY. He and his wife spent 40 years together in Danville, KY, moving to Aiken ten years ago. He was of the Baptist faith and was a member of Junction City Baptist Church in Junction City, KY. Mr. Moore loved working in the yard, riding motorcycles, collecting guns, and watching the University of Kentucky men's basketball team. Most of all, he loved his family deeply. Additional survivors include: one son Dr. Paul (Jennifer) Thomas Moore, Kingsport, TN; one daughter Joanna (Andrew) Jane Siders, Aiken, SC; two sisters Jean Cecil, Harrodsburg, KY, and Agnes Driscoll, Harrodsburg, KY; and five grandchildren Lee (Kathryn) Andrew Siders, Jr., Sheldon Faith Siders, Sarah (Brian) Catelyn Eaton, Nolan Thomas Siders, and Logan (Emily) Thomas Moore. Mr. Moore was preceded in death by two sisters Marie Pulliam and Betty “Dottie” Joyce Watson. A private service with the family will be held at a later date.
