Mrs. Marie Frances Stang

Aiken, SC—A celebration of life service for Mrs. Marie Frances Stang will be held at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, September 9, 2023 at Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Brancie Stephens officiating.  Mrs. Stang entered into rest on September 5, 2023 at Pruitt Health in Ridgeway, SC.  Mrs. Stang was the beloved wife of the late Mr. Walter Stang. She was born in Christchurch, New Zealand to the late Mr. Cyril Nesbit and the late Mrs. Agnes Oates Nesbit. Mrs. Marie Frances Stang has been a resident of Aiken County for 25 years and also attended Bethel Baptist Church.  Mrs. Stang was a bank teller for 20 years until she retired in 2007.  She enjoyed spending time with her dog Chloe and family. Survivors include: one son, Craig Stang, Frederick, Maryland; one daughter, Sharon (Robbie) Mathison, Aiken, SC; and three grandchildren, Anthony Mathison, Cameron Mathison, and Nathan Stang.
