Mrs. Margit Buttner Padgett
Clearwater—Entered into rest at her residence Sunday May 12, 2013, Mrs. Margit Buttner Padgett age 68 wife of the late Mr. Eddie Leon Padgett and daughter of the late Mr. Helmut Buttner and Mrs. Anna Schwarz Buttner.
A celebration of life service will be held 1:00 pm Saturday May 25, 2013 at Light House Baptist Church North Augusta with Rev. Roger Wheeler officiating. Interment will be private.
Mrs. Padgett was a native of Karlsruhe Germany and had made Aiken County her home for the past 47 years. She had retired as a weaver in the Hickman Division of Avondale (Graniteville Company). Mrs. Padgett attended Light House Baptist Church in North Augusta.
Survivors include two sons, Jerry (Judy) Roberts, Aiken, Terry Roberts, Darien, GA; two daughters, Susan Lange, Karlsruhe, Germany, Christel Akers, North Augusta; two brothers, Herbert and Siegfried Buttner, Karlsruhe, Germany; one sister, Helga Buttner, Karlsruhe, Germany; six grandchildren, Amanda and Megan, Hope Roberts, Elias Lange, Dylan and Evan Akers; one great grandchild, John Whitfield, Jr.; her mother-in-law, Mary Lever, Trenton.
The family would like to express a gratitude of thanks to Dr. Jerry Lambert and his staff for the care and compassion they gave to Mrs. Padgett.
