Mrs. Margaret Harris Stringfield
Graniteville, SC--A celebration of life service for Mrs. Margaret Harris Stringfield age 80 will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday November 14, 2018 at Mercy Church of God, Aiken, SC with Pastor Kenny Murphy, Pastor Tod Wilson officiating. Entombment will follow in Southlawn Cemetery with Pastor Joshua Temple officiating. Mrs. Stringfield entered into rest peacefully at her residence surrounded by her family Saturday November 10, 2018. She was the beloved wife for 28 years of Mr. Ted Morgan Stringfield of Graniteville, and the daughter of the late Mr. Edward Harris and the late Mrs. Rilla Armistead Harris. Mrs. Stringfield was a native of Flat Rock, SC (Anderson County) and had made Aiken County her home for the past 63 years. Mrs. Stringfield served as secretary for former Aiken County Sheriff Carol Heath and the Late Howard Sellers of the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office with eight years of service. She also was a laboratory Technician for Graniteville Company with ten years of service and was a strong competitor in the game of Scrabble which she truly enjoyed. Among other activities were the many trips she made around the neighborhood riding her golf cart with her family. Mrs. Stringfield was an active member of Mercy Church of God, Aiken, SC. Additional survivors include her daughter, Cynthia (Brodice) Williamson, Salley; her son, Randy (Samantha) Temple, Jackson; two sisters, Thelma Wiley, North Augusta, Doris Free, Anderson; five grandchildren, Jeremy Williamson, Vanessa Williamson, Lucas Williamson, Joshua Temple, Jenna Kay McAdams; five great grandchildren, Isabella Vaughters, Eden Grace McAdams, Rylee Williamson, Judah McAdams, and Abigail McAdams. Mrs. Stringfield was also predeceased by two brothers, James E. Harris, Jr. Dewey E. Harris; three sisters, Inez Terry, Lora Clarke, and Dellie Johnson. Serving as pallbearers will be Jeremy Williamson, Lucas Williamson Joshua Temple, Brodice Williamson, Harold Maness, and Chip Wilson. A visitation with the family will take place 5-8 PM Tuesday November 13, 2018 at Mercy Church of God, 2700 Whiskey Road, Aiken, SC.
