Lola McKenna Weaver
Aiken—Mrs. Lola McKenna Weaver, age 93 entered into rest peacefully on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at her residence. She was born and a former resident of Kane, PA. Mrs. Weaver the wife of late Mr. James J. Weaver, and was the daughter of the late Mr. Patrick McKenna, and the late Mrs. Eva Johnson McKenna.
Mrs. Weaver was a communicant of St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church in Aiken as well as a previous member of St. Callistus Catholic Church in Kane, PA. She was an avid bingo player with the “Luck of the Irish”. Mrs. Weaver lived her life with dignity, hope, and grace. Mrs. Weaver was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She will be fondly remembered as a true loving, caring, selfless, and giving woman devoted to family and loved by many; the family has lost a very precious jewel.
Survivors include daughters, Charmaine Wade, CA, Diane (Mike) Miller, CA, Nita Reierson, CA, Renee Weaver, CA, Jeanine (Ed) Luszcz, SC,; sons, Jim (Judy) Weaver, PA, Bill (Anne-Marie) Weaver, PA. Fourteen grandchildren, Doug, Michelle, Dan, Dave, Darin, Nicole, Missy, Jim, Andy, Colton, Emily, Hannah, Ryan, and Alexa; eighteen great grandchildren, Rio, Taylor, Tanner, Jared, Mckenzie, Abby, Ethan, Michael, Kaelyn, Sophie, Tyler, Mckenna, Makayla, Mason, Lola, Claire, Levi, and Avery.
Mrs. Weaver was also predeceased by three sisters, Anna, Emmarene, and Sarah.
Mrs. Weaver has been conveyed to Arlington Funeral Home, Arlington, VA and will be laid to rest beside her late husband at Arlington National Cemetery, Washington, DC.
