Ms. Lois D. Curry
North Augusta—A celebration of life service for Ms. Lois D. Curry, age 70 will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, May 9, 2015 at Cedar Creek Church, Banks Mill Road Campus with Rev. Tim Johnson and Rev. Phillip Lee officiating. Interment will be held private at a later date.
Ms. Curry was a native of St. Albans, WV and had made Aiken County her home for the past 35 years. She was a daughter of the late Mr. Austin Donohoe and the late Mrs. Wavey Violet Smith Donohoe. Mrs. Curry was a retired Secretary for Aiken Pest Control with a number of years of service. She started a bible study at the Ledges Apartments in North Augusta where she resided, and was a member of Cedar Creek Church Banks Mill Road Campus, Aiken, SC.
Survivors include two sons, Luther “Bud” (Lori) Dampier, III, Greenwood, Douglas Keith (Diana) Dampier, Aiken; two daughters, Lora (Mark) Cleversey, Ridge Spring, Allison, (Kayla) Curry-Gorby, Aiken; one brother, Ed Donohoe, Atlanta, GA; one sister, Vera Sawyer, Clayton, GA; twelve grandchildren, Brandon Dampier, Cleighton Wilson, Jillian Wilson, Amanda Randall, Lucky Bailey, Luke Dampier, Jessie Dampier, Austin Dampier, Devin Dampier, Cameron Cook, Nevaeh Gorby, Nicole Seigler, Bryce Larson, and Serena Hall; five great grandchildren, Cash, Coral, Kaycee Wilson, Brandi Randall, and Lucin Larson Eric Mikey Rodriguez. Mrs. Curry was predeceased by one brother, Bill Cook and two sisters, Janet Keller, and Joyce Ann Donohoe.
