Mr. Larry Samuel Edenfield, Sr. US Navy Retired

Pelion SC—Entered into rest Sunday October 19, 2014 at Tidewater Hospice, Mr. Larry Samuel Edenfield, Sr. US Navy Retired. He was the  son of the late Mr. Ernest Edenfield and the late Mrs. Rena Bell Floyd Edenfield.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 pm Thursday October 23, 2014  at Cole Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Arthur Sharpe officiating. Interment will follow in Southlawn Cemetery with full Military Honors accorded by the United States Navy Ceremonial Team.

Mr. Edenfield was a native of Winnsboro, SC,  and has made  Pelion his home for the past 30 years.   He was a veteran of the  Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War having served in the United States Navy retiring in 1979 with 21 years of service. Mr. Edenfield was a member of North Side Baptist Church, West Columbia, SC.

Survivors include  three sons, Brian C. Edenfield, Portland, OR, Larry S. (Shannon) Edenfield, Pelion, John E. Edenfield, Pelion; two daughters,  Julie (Andy)  Alexander, Friona,Texas, Lara S. Edenfeld, Pelion; three sisters, Judy Livingston, New Ellenton, Patsy Dinkins, Elgin; nine grandchildren.
Mr. Edenfield was predeceased by one sister, Tappiann Dickers.

Pallbearers will be Larry Edenfield, John Edenfield, Trey Finn, Stevie Finn, Cody Walker, and Jordan Annis.
