Kenneth Wayne Fransaw, a kind and gentle soul with a heart full of joy, passed away leaving behind a legacy of warmth, laughter, and light.
Born on July 25, 1959, in Livingston, Texas, Kenneth was the beloved firstborn child of Lonnie B. Fransaw and Norma Jean Hill. He grew up in Houston, Texas, where he graduated from James Madison High School. Following his education, Kenneth proudly served a brief period in the United States Army.
Kenneth was a true happy-go-lucky person who embraced life's journeys. After his military service, he moved to California, spending a memorable portion of his life on the West Coast. He eventually settled in Georgia, where he met his devoted partner, Keisha Smith, and lived out the remainder of his life surrounded by loved ones. Known for his big, beautiful smile, Kenneth lit up every room he entered, always striving to keep things bright, jovial, and full of fun.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Lonnie B. Fransaw and Norma Jean Hill, as well as his brother, Ronnie Lee Fransaw, who passed away last year.
He is survived by his loving siblings, Tamara Fransaw and Kent Bernard Fransaw, as well as his stepsisters, Teresa and Lashawn. Kenneth also leaves behind his devoted girlfriend, Keisha Smith, along with their cherished granddaughter and children in South Carolina, who were his beloved family away from Texas. He is also remembered with love by a host of beloved cousins, including Frederick Ryans and Edith Landers, along with many extended family members and friends.
Following a brief memorial service in Houston once his remains are received, Kenneth will be brought home to Livingston, Texas, where his remains will be lovingly reunited and joined with those of his mother.
Kenneth’s presence, gentle nature, and unforgettable smile will be missed dearly by his family, friends, and all whose lives he touched. Though he is no longer with us, the joy he shared will remain in our hearts forever. Kenneth eyes and viable tissue will be used to give the gift of sight.
Rest in Peace Brother
