Joshua Charles Garvin

Williston, SC—A celebration of life service for Mr. Joshua “Josh” Charles Garvin, age 29, will be held 2:00 PM at Cole Funeral Home Chapel Friday August 27, 2021 with Rev. Bobby Paschal officiating. Interment will follow at First Baptist Church of Montmorenci Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tommy Stevens, Travis Chambers, Patrick Cheadle, Billy Gray, Cliff Mayle, and Alex Bearden. Josh entered into rest Sunday August 22, 2021 after losing a hard fought battle with Covid. He was the beloved son of Mrs. Elaine Sampson Garvin and the late Mr. Hank Garvin. Josh was a native of Aiken and had lived here all of his life. He was a 2011 graduate of Aiken High School and had spent six years working for Bridgestone Tire in Graniteville. Josh was a member of Darien Baptist Church but recently had attended First Baptist Church of Windsor. His hobbies included fishing, hunting, hanging out with his friends, and being with his daughter. He was a friend to all and loved to have a good time. Additional survivors include: one daughter Luna Garvin, Williston; one son Zayne Bearden, Aiken; and one brother Jacob (Kaitlyn) Garvin, Aiken. A visitation with the family will take place at 12:00 PM before the service at COLE FUNERAL HOME 1544 UNIVERSITY PKWY (118 BYPASS) AIKEN, SC 29801 803-648-7175.
