Leon Eduard Phillip Gagnon
Wagener, SC—Mr. Joseph Leon Eduard Phillip Gagnon, age 80, entered into rest on Thursday October 6, 2022, at his residence. He was the beloved husband of Mrs. Mary Antaya Gagnon and the son to the late Mr. Leon Gagnon and the late Mrs. Jeanine LaCroix Gagnon. Mr. Gagnon was a native of Woonsocket, RI, but had made Wagener his home for the last 14 years. He was of the Catholic faith and a member of ST. Gerard’s Catholic Church. He was a truck driver for 30 years for Axton Cross Chemical in Holliston, MA, retiring in 1994. His hobbies included yard work and tinkering. Additional survivors include: one son Scott (Kerri) Gagnon, Lincoln, RI; one daughter Erin Beaudry, Dover, DE; one daughter-in-law Lisa Gagnon; one brother Jean Gagnon, Lincoln, RI; three sisters Jacqueline Paulhus, Woonsocket, RI, Lorraine St. Onge, Lincoln, RI, and Teresa Terry, Woonsocket, RI; eight grandchildren; and one great grandchild on the way. Mr. Gagnon was preceded in death by one son Leon Gagnon and one sister Jeanne Riccio. A Vigil Service will be conducted Saturday October 29, 2022 with The Very Rev. Emmanuel Andinam celebrant.
