Aiken, SC—A celebration of life service for Mr. John Michael “Chance” Thomas, age 45, will be held 2:00 PM Saturday January 22, 2022 at Cole Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Thomas entered into rest January 8, 2022 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. He was the son of Mr. John Thomas and Mrs. Nancy Porter. Mr. Thomas was a native and lifelong resident of Aiken. He had served for 10 years for Angus Mobile Movers and had also been a roofer for 20 years. Mr. Thomas enjoyed fishing, jet skis, 4 wheelers, and was an avid Carolina fan. Additional survivors include: one son Matthew Garr, Oregon; two daughters Emma Thomas, Aiken,  Grace Thomas, Oregon; one brother David Thomas, Summerville; two sisters Christina Holmes, Summerville and Crystal Thomas, Aiken; and two grandchildren.
