Aiken--A celebration of life service for Mr. John C. Taylor, age 71 will be held 11:00 am Friday October 14, 2016 at Grace Covenant Church of God, New Ellenton, SC, with Rev. Edgar N. Foster, Sr. officiating.  Interment will be private.  Mr. Taylor was the Husband for 38 years of Mrs. Donna Lynn Taylor and a son of the late Mr. Donald Taylor and the late Mrs. Nelma Gibson Taylor.  He entered into rest Tuesday October 4, 2016 at Augusta University Medical Center (MCG) surrounded by love ones.  Mr. Taylor was a native of Marion, NC and had made Aiken County his home for most of his life.  He owned and operated Taylor Cabinets and later Taylor's Antiques and Refinishing.   He enjoyed working with wood, hunting, and football.  Additional survivors include his son, Charles (Shannon) Taylor, Johns Island, SC; two daughters, Angie (K.C.) Price, Woodruff, SC, Nikki (Mike) Monroe, Valrico, FL; eight grandchildren, Kelsie, Colby, Alex, Christopher, Annabelle, Abbey, Tessa, Max; one sister, Donelle (Bill) West, Aiken; one brother, Roger (Gaye) Taylor, Charlotte, NC; mother-in-law, Barbara Robinson, Aiken; sister-in-law, Debbie (John) Riffe, WV; brother-in-law, Rick (Janet) Robinson, North Augusta and nieces and nephews.  Mr. Taylor was also preceded in death by his step-mother, Pat Taylor, and his father-in-law, Richard Robinson. The family has suggests that in lieu of flowers memorials be made to Grace Covenant Church of God, P.O. Box 28, New Ellenton, SC, 29809.  A visitation with the family will be held in the church foyer following the service.
