Aiken—Entered into rest Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at Pepper Hill Nursing Home, Mr. John Wooster Scott, Jr., age 80, beloved husband of 58 years to Mrs. Joanne Maree Grueser Scott and a son of the late Mr. John Wooster Scott, Sr. , and the late Mrs. Amy Peterson Scott.
Mr. Scott was a native of Cleveland Ohio and had made Aiken his home for the past eleven years.   He retired from Lowes of Aiken, and was  formally associated with Forrest City Lumber for over 31 years in Cleveland, Ohio.  Mr. Scott was a member of the Unitarian Church of Westlake, Ohio.
Additional survivors include one son, Willmot Randolph “Randy” Scott. Akron, Ohio; one daughter, Susan Kaye Scott (William) Greer, Dallas, Texas; one sister, Linda Scott, Windsor, SC; two grandchildren, Rachel Elizabeth Scott, and Tyler Austin Scott. Mr. Scott was predeceased by one brother, James Lawrence Scott.
