Mrs. Joan Crawford Seigler

Aiken, SC-- A graveside service for Mrs. Joan Crawford Seigler, age 85, will be held at Aiken Memorial Gardens on Thursday December 11, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Marion Britton officiating. Mrs. Seigler entered into rest on Saturday December 6, 2025 at her home. She was the beloved wife to Mr. Dan Seigler, and the daughter to the late Mr. William Wallace Crawford and the late Mrs. Elizabeth Whitaker Crawford. Mrs. Seigler was born in New Iberia, LA, but had made Aiken her home since 1954. She was of the Christian faith and was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church. She was very involved in her church where she sang in the choir, and worked with the young people. She dedicated her life to mission work and youth ministry. Mrs. Seigler enjoyed sewing, cross stitching, and singing. She will be missed for her impact to her family, church, and community. Additional survivors include: two sons David William (Maureen) Seigler, Wetumpka, AL and Thomas Eugene (Sandra) Seigler, Aiken; one daughter Susan Seigler, Aiken; brother Henry Leon Hayes, Sr., Aiken; seven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister Loreta Garton. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to missions of one’s choice.
