Aiken, SC--Entered into rest Sunday, October 8, 2017, at Pepper Hill Nursing Center, Mrs. Jeanne Cole Rowland, age 85. She was a native of Charleston, SC and made Aiken her home for the past four years. She was the daughter of the late Myron Cole and the late Ellenor Quinn. Mrs. Rowland retired from Sears & Roebuck after 20 years of service. She was a parishioner of Church of the Nativity Catholic Church in Charleston and attended St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church in Aiken. Survivors include the following: 5 sons Carl Joseph (Paula) Rowland III, Aiken; Robert Ernest (Maryann) Rowland, Charleston, SC; Edward Joseph (Salley) Rowland, Washington D.C.; John Joseph Rowland, Charleston, SC; Bruce Charles (Lynn) Rowland, Aiken; one daughter, U.S. Navy Chief Petty Officer Patricia Grantham, Washington D.C.. Jeanne's loving family includes 11 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren along with stepchildren, step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 am Saturday, October 21, 2017, at Church of the Nativity, 1061 Folly Road, Charleston, SC.  Interment will be at St. Lawrence Cemetery.
