Aiken, SC—Ginetta (Jeanette) D’Amato Robinson passed away peacefully on August 7, 2026 at home surrounded by loved ones. She was born on October 20, 1932 to Anthony D’Amato and Rosina Digiovanni D’Amato of Philadelphia, PA. Jeanette was married to Major Charley Robinson for 32 years until his passing in 1983. She loved being a Marine Corps wife, ballroom dancing, shopping, and going to the casino. They had four children: Roseann (George), Charles “Chip” (Michele), Rebecca, Jennifer (Deborah). She has ten grandchildren: martin, Christopher, Scott (Casey), Paul, Joel (Emily), Thea, Gabi, Tara, David Paul “DP,” and Janel. She has six great grandchildren: Dakota (Matt), Martin, Benjamin, Melissa, Sofia, and Elaine. She has one great grandchild, Iris with another on the way.

Jeanette is predeceased by her husband Charley, son Chip, siblings Louise (Peter), Philamena (Frank), Cassie (Tom), Marie (Jerry), Frankie, grandson DP, and granddaughter Janel.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Jeanette requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to St. Jude’s Cancer Research for Children www.st.judes.org.
