James Ronald “Ronnie” Holdren, Jr.

Aiken, SC—A celebration of life service for Mr. James Ronald “Ronnie”  Holdren, Jr., age 54, will be held 2:00 pm Saturday November 20, 2021 at Central Baptist Church with Rev. Buddy Brinkley officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Joseph Dolittle, R.J. Wagner, Adam Wade, William Carlisle, Henry Holdren, Jan Friday and Phil Kinard. Mr. Holdren entered into rest Monday November 15, 2021 at Doctors Hospital in Augusta, GA. He was the beloved husband of Mrs. Evelyn Jones Holdren and the son of Mrs. Deloris Hall Holdren Senterfeit Sprague and the late Mr. James R. Holdren, Sr. Mr. Holdren was a native of Aiken, where he spent all of his life. He was of the Baptist faith and attended Central Baptist Church. Mr. Holdren was self employed as an electrician in construction from 1986 to present day. His hobbies included fishing and going mud bogging in his Tahoe, and  was an avid Pittsburg Steelers Fan. He loved spending times with his dogs Jr. and Ben (Deceased). Additional survivors include: one daughter Mary Elizabeth Holdren, Aiken; one step daughter Teresa Gail Carver, Aiken; two brothers Joseph Wayne Holdren, Aiken and Collin Dewayne Senterfeit, Aiken; one sister Samantha Marie Jarubowski, Aiken; two grandchildren Austin Colby Bryant, Lexi and Andrew Enlow; his step father, Ronald Lee Sprague, Aiken. In lieu of flowers the family has suggested that memorials be made to Central Baptist Church 1652 Wire Road, Aiken, SC 29805.  A visitation with the family will take 6-8 pm  Friday November 19, 2021 at COLE FUNERAL HOME 1544 UNIVERSITY PKWY (118 BYPASS) AIKEN, SC 29801 803-648-7175. Due to Covid, the family suggests that masks be worn and social distancing be observed. The service will be live streamed on the Cole Funeral Home Facebook page.
