James Michael "Mack" Seigler
Aiken--A celebration of life service for Mr. James Michael "Mack" Seigler, age 68 will be held 2:00 pm Sunday August 20, 2017 at Central Baptist Church with Rev. Allan Palmer officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Seigler entered into rest Thursday August 17, 2017 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. He was a native and a life long resident of Aiken County and was the son of the late Mr. James Vincent Seigler and the late Mrs. Pliney Cook Seigler. Known to many as Mack, had retired after 30 years of service as a Line Processor at Michelin Tire in Lexington, SC. He also was an avid fisherman and hunter as well as a farmer, and was a member of Central Baptist Church. Mack is survived by his fiance' Gloria Scott, Aiken; Step son, Bill Mason; step daughter, Paula Sturkie, Aiken; brothers, Donnie Seigler, Sr. and Ronnie (Susan) Seigler, Sr. of Aiken; sisters, Elaine Blackmon, Vickie (Leroy) Brown, and Wanda (William) Sheppard all of Aiken; grandchild, Michael Sturkie along with 8 step grandchildren; a great grand child, Clayton Sturkie and six step great grand children. Mack was predeceased by his first wife Mrs. Janie Crapps Seigler and one son, Neley Seigler. Pallbearers will be Colton Mason, Ronnie Seigler, Jr., Kody Mason, Josh Griffith, Charles Engasser, and Phillip Shealy. In lieu of flowers the family has suggested that memorials be made to Eastside Baptist Church 3351 Wagener Road, Aiken, SC 29801. A visitation with the family will take place 6-8 pm this evening, Saturday August 19, 2017 at COLE FUNERAL HOME 1544 UNIVERSITY PARKWAY (118 BY PASS) AIKEN, SC, 29801. 803-648-7175.
