Mr. Hubert Paul Ellis Nimau

Aiken—Went to be with the Lord Saturday, August 17, 2013 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers Mr. Hubert Paul Ellis Nimau age 68, loving husband of 11 years to Mrs. Christy A. Nimau and son the Mrs. Margaret H. Nimau of San Francisco, CA and the late Mr. Hubert Paul Ellis Nimau.

A service celebrating his life and home going will be held 11:00 am Friday August 23, 2013 at Clear Water Branch Baptist Church with Pastor David Young officiating.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery with  honors by the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office.  Mr. Nimau will be placed in the church one hour prior to service.

Mr. Nimau was a born in San Francisco, CA and resided there for 36 years before moving to Aiken, SC in 1981.  He served in the U.S. Air Force and was a police officer in San Francisco for 15 years until  his retirement .  Mr. Nimau was a deputy/investigator for the Aiken County Sheriff Department and served Aiken County for 23 years until he  retired for the second time in his career in law enforcement in July 2006.  He will be forever greatly missed by all those whose lives he touched during the 68  years God granted him here on earth. Mr. Nimau has completed his journey, and is now at peace with the Lord his maker.

Additional survivors include one step son Keith Moxley, Aiken; one step daughter, Nicole Moxley, Aiken; one brother, John Nimau, San Francisco, CA; three loving grandchildren, Hailey, Gabriel and Temperance Benavente, Aiken; a sister-in-law, Andrea Seigler/Jones, Aiken; four nieces, Alanna Vigil, San Francisco, CA, Kristin Hartman, Boone, NC, Adrena Jones and Jamie Jones of Aiken; one nephew, Shawn Nimau, San Francisco, CA.

Serving as pallbearers will be Stuart Preptel, Norwood Bodie, Nate Weigle, Lynn Ghant, Steve Hutto, and Stuart Graybeal.
