Aiken, SC--A graveside service For Mr. Henry Priester Groce, age 81 will be held 1:00 Saturday July 18, 2020 at Southland Memorial Gardens, West Columbia, SC. with military honors provided by the U.S. Air Force Honor Guard of Shaws Air Force Base, Sumter, SC.  Mr. Groce entered into rest Tuesday June 30, 2020 at Pruitt Health--Aiken.  He was a native of Spartanburg, SC had made Aiken County his home for the past 5 years.  Mr. Groce was the son of the late Mr. Boyce Austin Groce and the late Mrs. Ethelyn Gem Priester Black. Mr. Groce received his BA degree in 1963 at Santa Maria College in Santa Maria California. He was a veteran of the U.S. States Air Force.  Mr. Groce was self employed and operated United Southern Supply in Charlotte, NC for 5 years until his retirement in 2004 and was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church on Reynolds Street, Augusta, GA.
